PTK Ranch is licensed and routinely inspected through Colorado's PACFA program, helping ensure we meet state standards for animal care, sanitation, housing, and recordkeeping. After more than a decade of working with multiple lines, we're able to look beyond the individual parents and consider relatives, previous pairings, adult offspring, temperament trends, health testing, and what our dogs have consistently produced. These lines have consistently produced highly trainable dogs with predictable temperaments, with dozens of PTK-bred dogs demonstrating the qualities needed for therapy, service, and other working roles. That history gives us valuable insight when making each breeding decision and greater predictability for the families choosing our puppies.

Real Life

Since 2015, we've intentionally raised puppies with Early Neurological Stimulation, scent introduction, multiple people handling, household activity, children, other animals, grooming, new surfaces, and age-appropriate experiences. These early exercises help support brain development, adaptability, stress response, and confidence as they grow and transition into their new homes.

Aussiedoodles

Our Aussiedoodles are F1, combining the Australian Shepherd and Standard Poodle. We intentionally stay with first-generation crosses because they give us greater consistency in size, coat traits, health, and the balanced, trainable temperaments we value.

Teddy Bears

Our Teddy Bears, also known as Shichons or Zuchons, are small companion dogs with affectionate, social personalities. Size varies by pairing, but our focus remains the same: health-tested parents, family-friendly temperaments, and puppies prepared for life in their new homes.

Our Kreeah came into this world with the coffee shop litter. We have had her for 1 1/2 years. She is so smart, loyal, so loving, she looks us straight in the eyes, shows herding tendencies, very protective, and just the most amazing dog we have ever had. Holly does an amazing job with her breeding program.

We got an amazing teddy bear puppy from Holly and Mike. Our girl had been so clearly well-cared for, she is well-adjusted, super sweet, hilarious, playful, trusting, healthy, and happy. She’s also beautiful as can be. The vet said she looks great, and she passed all tests with flying colors, no health issues at all. She has learned the command “crate” in just 4 days, and is doing great with potty training. She also slept the whole night through in the crate last night (night 4). We love her so much and are so grateful Holly and co gave her such a strong foundation. My mom is in love with our pup, so we’ll definitely be back for another when mom’s ready for one of her own!

I own Errorless Service Dogs and purchased Monty last year from PTK to train for a client. His temperament is outstanding. This is a dog that has incredible focus, loves to work and does not mind any environmental changes I throw at him. He has been one of the easiest dogs I have ever put through the program in my 11 years raising and training service dogs. Holly let me go and check the puppies temperament and we have had a great working relationship through the life of this dog.
