Australian Shepards
Our Australian Shepherd program is built around long-term health, proven temperament, and intentional early development. Parent dogs are carefully selected and evaluated through DNA testing, PennHIP, OFA elbow prelims, cardiac, patellas, and eyes, helping reduce avoidable health risks and give families great confidence in the dogs behind their puppy. Our lines are known for intelligence, trainability, and strong people-focused temperaments, with Buck in particular having a proven record of producing well-minded puppies, including dogs suited for therapy and service work. Puppies begin Early Neurological Stimulation and scent introduction in their first days of life, followed by regular handling, socialization, and real-life experiences designed to support confidence, adaptability, and healthy stress response.

Essential Information
Australian Shepherds are intelligent, athletic, highly trainable dogs known for their loyalty, versatility, and strong work ethic. Our Standard Australian Shepherds typically mature around 50-65 pounds and are best suited for families who enjoy an active, engaged companion. Their nature drive and intelligence make them excellent partners for training, sport, ranch work, therapy, service, and other purposeful roles.
Aussies do best when they have regular mental and physical outlets and can be more demanding than a typical companion breed. With appropriate training, structure, and opportunities to work alongside their people, they can become exceptionally devoted, capable, and adaptable family dogs.
Grooming
Moderate with seasonal needs being higher. Regular brushing and seasonal deshedding needed.
